Maybe it is because I have seen Paul numerous times, but I will no longer pay anything more than face value. Face value is bad enough. _________________

I was willing to pay my $180 total for my SLC ticket. Granted, I can't exactly afford even that, but I'm getting to see Paul, who cares? This is something I've been waiting for for a looooong time. It's worth it.
So basically, just keep trying, you never know what will happen! _________________

Keep trying. And spread the word among your friends. Post on FaceBook's Paul/Beatles groups. Even a ticket in "nosebleed" is better than nothing. _________________ GYPSYGIRL |

Keep checking Ticketmaster as the show date gets closer for a ticket drop, when better seats can become available. I've gotten pretty lucky doing this for other shows. _________________ Berkeley 1990, Anaheim 1993, next gig TBA |

More US tickets will be available now that a lot of Paul-bashers won't go to his gigs anymore!!! _________________ 09-12-09 Arnhem (Netherlands)

Anyone who has decided to not go to any of Paul's concerts for the dumbest reasons, i.e., getting their knickers into a twist over his remarks at the White House, is just cutting off their noses to spite their faces. On the plus side, these people are doing Paul's true fans a huge favour by giving them better chances at tix! _________________ GYPSYGIRL |

That happened to me one time. I bought some tickets at the last minute. And, I got to sit 5 rows from the stage! The tickets were less than $100, because they were limited view seating. They were on the side, so we couldn't see the giant T.V. screen. But, we didn't need to see the screen, we could see the actual musicians! There they were right there in front of us! It was cool! One of the best concerts, I have been to, in my life! _________________ gorda

Just wish the cost of tix weren't so expensive. Once you have to purchase tix for more than one person the cost is even more ghastly. _________________ GYPSYGIRL |

I could never get through to the crowd surge site when attempting to buy tickets to the Nashville gig. Ended up getting mine via Ticketmaster.

I've been disappointed many times before. For 4 whole years since 2005, Paul has been doing shows and only this year had I gotten the chance to see him. Most likely, musicians do not have the authority over their tickets as they have other people who are in charge of that.
So, It is not Paul's fault. It's just the ticketing business. And making money for them is making fans like you and me spend up to a thousand on nearly decent seats.
I was thinking to myself that only "true" fans should get up front seats by answering some trivia questions and get their seats depending on much they scored on trivia. (Like that's gonna happen).
Some tips are: be on the look out for future concerts and make sure you purchase your tickets at pre-sales, use the phone and internet to make your purchase on the time of the sale, or purchase some from real fans who will sell them at face value. |
I Agree It's Not Paul's Fault But TicketMaster and Other Places that ticket's Are Sold. Paul Loves his Fans And Cares About them Deeply And That's The Type Of Guy Paul Is And He Gives Tour Dates And Everything So Try To Get Them Ahead Of Time In The Pre-Sales So Hope It Helps With getting Tix's At Least A Little because There Only As In TM And Stuff like that Are Only Trying to Rip You Off By Saying That It's A Good Deal When it's Not And Plus there Only Trying To Stay In Buissness And Plus The Beatles Are The One's Who Started Music Awesomeness And Also Paul Is So Popular that They Think They As In TM Again Should Raise The price So Hope That Helps A Little Again!!! _________________ Make It A Crazy Day Because Being Crazy And Not Normal Is Better Than Being Normal At All And Making A Day Weird Is better Than Not Having At Least One Weird friend All My Friends Are Weird & Crazy How BoutYou?? |

I don't know the history of your attempts, but as a huge PM fan and many many many miles of planes, trains & automobiles (OK, well maybe not trains...) I can honestly say that Paul has been EXTREMELY conscious of his fans and their ability to score seats from his site.
If you keep up with the dates, are ready with your credit card info and the time they go on sale, ready to accept less than front row, and you know the procedure, you should be able to score decent seats when they go on sale on Ticketmaster, and esp. with Paul's recent presales.
Experience has proven to all that Ticketmaster and concert seats in general are less than fair and mostly timing, luck and one's ability to pay top dollar are huge factors, but I can honestly say that Paul seems to try to make us happy by offering presale codes and going to various places. There's no way to make 100% of the people happy 100% of the time. _________________
